About the role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will help improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability in Axon’s automated manufacturing environment. You will own preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for automated production systems, helping ensure safe, stable, and cost-effective operations. This role gives you the opportunity to work closely with Manufacturing, Controls, and Maintenance teams to reduce downtime, extend asset life, and support Axon’s continued production scaling.

- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item"> Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item"> 3–6 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, automation engineering, or a related manufacturing engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item"> Experience with PLC-based automation systems, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and partnering with controls teams on issue resolution.
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item"> Familiarity with CMMS systems, maintenance data analysis, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item"> Strong data-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, production-driven environments.
- p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item"> Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to partner with Manufacturing, Controls, Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams.

- occasional off-shift or weekend work may be required during critical events.
