About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex tax challenges, and serving as a valued advisor to middle-market clients. You'll work closely with firm leadership, collaborate across service lines, and make a meaningful impact on both our clients' success and the continued growth of TJT.
What you'll bring
- The ideal candidate has at least three years of public accounting experience and a strong foundation in tax compliance, research, and client service.
- Experience preparing and reviewing partnership and individual (Form 1040) tax returns.
- Exposure to closely held businesses and their owners.
- Strong technical tax knowledge and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience performing federal and state tax research.
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification.
- Experience working with family office groups, investment entities, or closely held operating companies is a plus.
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement software preferred.
