About the role

Capital One’s Commercial Banking (CML) and Financial Services (FS) L&D team is hiring a Learning & Development Manager dedicated to our Commercial Banking business. In this role, you will have a dual focus: owning CML’s high-impact Leadership Development Programs and serving as the primary Learning Consultant for assigned business lines within CML. You will design and scale structured, cohort-based learning experiences that feel high-touch and tailored, while working directly with business leaders to identify performance gaps and deliver practical learning solutions.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of client facing consulting experience
• At least 3 years of experience working in Learning and Development
• At least 3 years of experience managing cohort-based learning programs
• At least  2 year of project management experience
• Masters Degree
• 3+ years of learning strategy creation experience
• 4+ years of experience designing, launching, or managing cohort-based learning programs
• 3+ years of experience using modern learning platforms (LXPs/LMS), content authoring tools, and learning analytics.
• Direct experience consulting with business leaders to diagnose performance gaps and recommend training solutions.
• Experience facilitating live training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-week learning projects from kickoff to evaluation.
