About the role
As a Quality Inspector (Receiving & MRB), you'll play a critical role in ensuring that incoming supplier materials and internally manufactured hardware meet Helion's engineering and quality standards before entering production. You'll perform receiving, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections, verify dimensional and documentation requirements, maintain product traceability, and support the control of nonconforming material through Helion's Material Review Board (MRB) process. This role is responsible for identifying and documenting quality issues, preparing material for MRB review, and executing approved dispositions. Engineering and the Material Review Board retain authority for disposition decisions. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Inspection Supervisor at our Everett location. What you'll bring
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or another technical production environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and technical documentation
- Experience identifying, documenting, and controlling nonconforming material while maintaining accurate inspection records and traceability
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams in a fast-paced environment
