Coordinates, implement, administer, and evaluates Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs that ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state and local requirements to support the EHS Department.
What you'll bring
- BA or BS degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, public health, environmental health or related 4-year degree or education and experience to fulfill essential duties of position.
- 3+ years of experience working in Environmental/Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well developed interpersonal skills are required.
- Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.
- Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
- Ability to successfully operate independently with minimal guidelines.
- Prefer experience in a biomedical research/pre-clinical environment.
- Relevant industry experience a plus.
