About the role
Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager - Part Time 6 Months This position is for the planning and implementation of the IT infrastructure and the Departmental Move at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.
What you'll bring
- Candidates MUST HAVE VITA PM certification AND previous VA state experience
- 11-14 years’ work experience in IT project management and/or IT management.
- Must have successfully performed as a Project Manager for at least one project with a total cost over $2,000,000.
- Has previous experience successfully completing a project pursuant to the Commonwealth’s Project Management Standard.
- PMP certification or qualified as a Commonwealth IT Project Manager with a completed Project Manager Qualification Record is required.
- Familiarity with project management tools( Microsoft Project) and/or software packages.
- Experience working in team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- VITA Project Manager certifications Required 10 Years
- Experience utilizing robust project management software such as MS Project Required 10 Years
- Experience with the Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) tool is highly preferred.
