About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help build Alamo, the internal MES/ERP platform powering The American Housing Corporation’s design, real estate, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain workflows. You will work across the product surface: from polished user-facing workflows in Next.js to durable backend services, database models, integrations, and operational tooling. You will build software that helps architects design and configure homes, helps real estate teams identify developable opportunities, and helps manufacturing teams turn designs into physical products. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who likes working close to the business, understands that excellent software is both technically rigorous and deeply practical, and wants to help build the operating system for a new kind of housing company. This is an in-person role for builders who want to work closely with the people using the software every day.

What you'll bring

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building fullstack web applications in TypeScript.
• Deep familiarity with React and modern frontend architecture.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, service boundaries, and production debugging.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Track record of shipping complex product features in ambiguous environments.
• Strong product judgment and ability to work closely with non-technical operators and stakeholders.
• Care for craft: clean abstractions, thoughtful UI, robust tests, and maintainable systems.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
• Experience with manufacturing, ERP, MES, inventory, logistics, construction, or industrial software is a plus.
