About the role
As our new Engineer, you will work on a diverse set of controls, SCADA, robotics, and automation projects with our existing engineering team. You will be exposed to various controls and automation software packages and get hands-on experience with instrumentation and automation hardware You will be part of Process Controls & Data Solutions team that focuses on instrumentation, controls, SCADA, robotics, and automation group.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- Currently hold or be willing to pursue the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification by taking the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Background in Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or another engineering discipline relevant to controls engineering.
- Experience with or the ability to work in AutoCAD.
- Ability to work hands-on with electrical circuitry, wiring, and related components.
- Experience with Python programming and the ability to learn and apply additional programming languages as needed.
- Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and represent the organization professionally.
