About the role
You will be responsible for reviewing and approving a range of critical processes across all Aftermarket sources utilized in the manufacture and repair of engine hardware including but not limited to: welding, brazing, shot peening, heat treatment, surface finishing, bearing manufacturing/refurbishment, joining, coating, chemical processes, stripping, adhesive bonding, composites and surface treatments. You will be in a technical role and will learn how all the critical Aftermarket processes are executed. - Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a similar technical field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- 7+ years of experience in at least one or more of the following: design, manufacturing and/or materials engineering associated with welding, brazing, shot peening, heat treatment, surface finishing, bearing manufacturing/refurbishment, joining, coating, chemical processes, stripping, adhesive bonding, composites and surface treatments and related processing.
- Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney design and quality systems.
- A Master’s of Science in Engineering is a plus, as is green belt and/or black belt certification and training.
- Prior engine hardware design, manufacturing or aftermarket experience is a plus.
