About the role

The Texas Stock Exchange is hiring a Market Operations Analyst in our Dallas offices. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day operational activities across multiple functions of a national securities exchange. The ideal candidate will possess industry knowledge, analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

What you'll bring

• 1-10+ years of relevant experience in securities exchange operations, brokerage operations, or a similar capital markets environment.
• Experience in trade support, listings, market intelligence, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Python and or scripting languages to aid with automation, data analysis, monitoring/alerting, and tool development
• Familiarity with clearing, settlement processes, and emerging technologies in capital markets.
• Certifications: Industry certifications such as Series 7, Series 24, or other relevant FINRA licenses would be beneficial, or ability to maintain in a specified time period.
• Technical & Analytical Acumen
• Knowledge of trading systems, market structure, execution mechanics, and post-trade clearing processes.
• Strong data analysis capabilities, with an ability to interpret market trends and transform insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in broker-dealer operations and FINRA/SEC regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
