About the role
As a Test Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain custom testing solutions for our in-house developed electronics and electro-mechanical hardware. This person will be needed to create test systems and infrastructure including hardware, software, and test sequences to exercise all possible failure modes.
What you'll bring
- Evidence of exceptional ability (prior projects, portfolio of work, completed products, etc).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or an engineering discipline with an emphasis in electrical engineering and electronics.
- 1+ years of experience with electronic hardware development or software development.
- 1+ years of programming experience using Python or Embedded C/C++.
- Experience analyzing circuits and developing functional test plans.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting PCBAs.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and DAQs.
- Understanding and experience in environmental testing such as HALT, vibration, shock, thermal, and EMI/EMC.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
