About the role
We are currently seeking an Account Manager for a sales territory in Southern Louisiana and surrounding areas. Working as a fulltime outside sales account manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day sales activities of ongoing business development and customer prospecting. This position will support a well-established sales territory. This role will cover a sales territory from Morgan City to New Orleans (Hwy 90 Corridor) and needs to be home based in that vicinity. The sales focus is Upstream O&G with some diversification.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years of outside sales experience within the industrial hose and gasket industry
- Must be able to successfully function in a fast-paced high-volume sales environment
- Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and ability to learn and use a CRM system.
- Valid driver's license is required
- Some overnight travel may be required
- Experience with value-add sales is preferred
- Associates or Bachelors degree in related field is preferred
