The Commercial Fire Door Replacement Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing fire ‑ rated doors and related hardware within major healthcare and commercial facilities nationwide. What you'll bring
- 2 years+ of carpentry or construction experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand Life Safety Plans and work orders
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Self ‑ starter able to work independently with limited supervision
- Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office for reporting
- Must be at least 21 years of age to meet company driving and insurance eligibility requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain identification necessary for work-related travel is required
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time (market dependent)
- Ability to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends, or modified schedules as business needs require
