About the role

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance, repair, safety, and upkeep of two distribution facilities. This position is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, repairing, and coordinating a wide variety of facility and equipment needs. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver who is comfortable working independently, prioritizing multiple projects, performing preventive maintenance, and determining when specialized outside contractors are required. This is not a position focused on one specific trade. The successful candidate will have broad mechanical and facility-maintenance experience and be willing to tackle a variety of projects involving electrical, plumbing, refrigeration support, loading docks, doors, security systems, building repairs, grounds, equipment, and general facility improvements. The position is primarily based at our Kent facility but will provide support to our Portland  location, requiring travel approximately two to three days per month.

What you'll bring

• Plumbing
• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, warehouse maintenance, building maintenance, construction, mechanical repair, or a related field.
• Broad mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems independently.
• Basic electrical systems

• General construction and building repair
• Welding or light fabrication
• Vehicle or trailer maintenance
