About the role
The Major Projects Digital I&C Engineer position is responsible for planning and performing Digital I&C engineering duties as assigned, working independently. This position requires reviewing, modifying and approving technical documentation related to digital I&C upgrades in support of the power uprate project. The position will ensure that all digital I&C equipment installed conforms to applicable codes and standards and generally accepted industry practices.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's of Science Engineering degree or related Science degree from a college or university with an accredited engineering program.
- 10-15 years of experience.
- Technical understanding of nuclear plant processes/programs not well understood by others.
- Experience with upgrading control systems from analog to digital
- Must have extensive knowledge in Digital I&C area of expertise.
- Registered Professional Engineer, desired.
- Experience with GE Mark VIe and Westinghouse Ovation Digital Control System platforms (preferred)
- Ohio preferred or able to secure through reciprocity
