About the role
I am assisting my government services prime client who is seeking an on-site SAP Functional SME to support their government customer's future SAP supply chain solutions at Fort Lee, VA. This position requires daily on-site work with situational telework. Technical/back-end understanding not necessary, we are looking for an experienced end-user to provide functional support as our client migrates to an SAP S/4HANA solution. This role requires experience in one or more SAP retail modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), and Inventory Management (IM).
What you'll bring
- Have or the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–7 years of experience in SAP Basis or Systems Engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of retail operations and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA or S/4HANA.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) – optional but advantageous.
- preferably within a retail environment.
