About the role
We are looking for a Node & React software engineer responsible for the development and maintenance of web applications aimed at ticketing solutions. Your primary focus will be development of APIs to interact with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure such as GraphQL and front-end React.js calls. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential. We are looking for a Node & React software engineer responsible for the development and maintenance of web applications aimed at ticketing solutions. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure such as GraphQL and front-end React.js calls.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Technology related field or equivalent experience
- Proficient with Node.JS and React.JS
- Minimum 7 years of experience as Software Engineer/Architect
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with GTFS, Real Time transportation Lat/Long coordinates, and RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as Shark
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools as Github and Gitlab
- Familiarity with continuous integration solutions such as Gitlab
