About the role

RESPEC is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager for our Tampa, Florida office. The Water Resources Project Manager will be involved with the management and technical execution of all types of planning, design, and specialty services related to public and private water resources, watershed, and stormwater projects. Responsibilities include:

What you'll bring

• Bachelor of science degree in civil or environmental engineering
• Experience with municipal and private clients in Florida
• 12-20 years of technical experience
• Professional engineer license in Florida or ability to obtain license within 6 months of start date
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Project experience including successful delivery of civil engineering planning studies, designs, and construction documents
• Experience in providing engineering services and project management in Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas, and Sarasota Counties
• Familiarity with development and design processes that are specific to Tampa Bay Area Counties
• Regulatory/permitting submittals and processing
• Technical writing
• Client interface and communications
• Experience in developing and guiding construction plan package preparation
