About the role

As a Data Scientist (potential uplevel to Sr. Data Scientist for the right experience) , you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. You will focus on developing and deploying predictive and descriptive models throughout the customer lifecycle, including machine learning models. Additionally, you will conduct strategic analytics and develop BI to monitor program results.  You will serve as a strategic thought partner for leaders throughout the company, helping them in identifying and exploiting opportunities where modeling and analytics can add value.

• 1-2+ years of experience as a professional data scientist.

• Excellent risk modeling and analytic skills.
• Proficient coding skills in SQL and Python/R.
• Keen eye for opportunities to get value from data.
• Ambitious, resourceful, and possessed of excellent judgment as evidenced by steadily growing professional responsibility.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects at any given time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In particular, be able to convert highly technical concepts and results into easily understood business value proposition.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Education in a "hard" quantitative field (e.g. Math, Stats, Economics, Operations Research, etc.), with evidence of outstanding academic achievement.
