About the role

This position is available to work from any of the 4 Expeditors CHQ Locations - Lynnwood, Factoria, Seattle, or Federal Way *** As a claim specialist you will be assigned a set of claims that will be your individual responsibility to manage from receipt until resolution to the customer. You will investigate claims using our documentation systems and global network. You will work to file claims against responsible parties and will ensure that they pay when they are responsible for losses. You will provide timely and exceptional customer service to external customers and to our internal network.

• Two years professional work or related experience
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
• Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills;
• Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment;
• Strong and consistent documenting skills;

• Ability to execute consistent follow-up on action items;
