About the role
Kennedy Jenks is seeking a motivated Wastewater Process Engineer to join our growing Wastewater Infrastructure team in Washington. This role focuses on wastewater treatment planning, design, and optimization projects that improve system performance, regulatory compliance, and environmental outcomes. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams on wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, collection systems, upgrades, and expansions. As a Wastewater Process Engineer, you’ll apply technical analysis, process design, project coordination, and stakeholder communication to help deliver effective wastewater solutions.

- Technical knowledge: Wastewater treatment processes, regulations, technologies, system design, optimization, and compliance documentation.
- Certifications or licenses: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
