About the role
Wave Aquatics is seeking entry-level lifeguards who do not possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification to fill the role of Lifeguard at the Redmond Pool in Redmond, WA.
What you'll bring
- Candidates must be able to pass Red Cross Lifeguarding Course prerequisites:
- 16 year s of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED (In Progress OK)
- Proven swimming ability with a strong understanding of water safety practices
- Ability to obtain an American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR Certification prior to the start of employment (Wave will provide the course and opportunity to become certified free of charge)
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests of all ages
- Capable of responding calmly and effectively in emergencies
Benefits
Hourly Pay: $ 17.50 - $21 .50 per hourEntry-level lifeguards are hired at $17.50 per hour.
