About the role

We are excited to announce that we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, or an Engineer with mid-level experience eager to step- up, to join our Buildings Engineering Division at our Richmond, VA office. In this dynamic role, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs, alongside studies and technical support needed to meet project goals. You can expect a variety of projects that include fieldwork, design, and construction administration services.

What you'll bring

• Demonstrated strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience with a recognized architectural/engineering services firm is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
• A Virginia Professional Engineer’s License is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
