About the role

Seaman Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality team! This position will report to the Quality Supervisor in Wooster, OH. The Quality Assurance Technician will conduct product certification testing in support of quality and operational requirements. The Quality Assurance Technician will prepare, submit, review, and file required quality documentation. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual capable of performing physical properties testing, generating and interpreting data. They will work effectively in a team environment and be skilled at multitasking and problem-solving to deliver results in an efficient manner. They will also assist the Operations Lab Technician in supporting internal and external customer testing needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. What you'll bring

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years or more experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
• Able to learn and function using modern business tools such as: Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Oracle, Salesforce
• Successfully worked in a team environment

• 4 years or more experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
• Knowledge of Seaman Products and the applicable test methods preferred
• Product application experience a plus
• Previous laboratory experience a plus
