About the role
As a Senior Business Manager at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You’ll team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. We are looking for a Senior Manager for the Retail Bank’s Product Analytics team. You will help shape a wide range of innovative consumer facing and platform experiences across the Retail Bank. You will apply your analytical skills, technical skills, and product sense to support leadership in prioritizing what to build and setting goals for execution. You will guide product teams using data and insights, develop hypotheses, and employ rigorous analytical approaches to test them. You will define success metrics and surface insights on new opportunities and challenges. Your work will directly influence product direction, investment decisions, and the product vision for the Retail Bank. This is a highly collaborative role in which you will problem solve alongside partners and leadership in Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Finance, and others. You will be responsible for growing a team of product analysts and contributing to the growing product analytics community.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
- At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
- At least 1 year of experience performing people management
- At least 1 year of experience performing project management
- Business Manager
- Previous consulting experience is a plus
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis
- 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis
- 2+ years of experience in people management
- 2+ years of experience in product development
