About the role
KPFF Seattle’s Civil Team designs sites that enable land to be developed for commercial, residential, institutional, and recreational purposes. We also design critical public and private infrastructure systems that support the built and natural environments, including district energy, regional storm drainage facilities, utility grids, and trails. We support projects ranging from feasibility evaluations and master planning to design, permitting, and construction. Our group works in close collaboration with owners, architects, landscape architects, and other engineering disciplines to build a more sustainable, resilient, and thriving community. Located in downtown Seattle, our Civil Engineering team is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4 - 7 years experience. This position will provide the opportunity for you to dive headfirst into real-world projects from day one. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the design and development of civil infrastructure across the Pacific Northwest and beyond; as well as:
What you'll bring
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- 4-7 years of experience working under the supervision of a licensed professional civil engineer.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with stormwater hydrology modeling.
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil (preferred) or environmental engineering.
- Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license in civil engineering.
