About the role
The Chief Engineer oversees the efficient, safe and responsible operation of all building systems and equipment while also leading the engineering team. You will oversee an engineering team of 8 at a 1.3 million square foot Class A Office building in downtown Boston. What you'll bring
- 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or similar
- Massachusetts Refridgeration License
- People management experience (leading a team)
- Universal CFC EPA certification
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Candidate must be willing to join Union 877.
- Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable
