About the role
Gupta Media was founded over 25 years ago on the idea that advertising could create huge leverage in our clients' businesses. Our work initially focused on the entertainment industry, specifically live events and recorded music (SXSW, Sony Music, Universal Music, and Disney Music Group are all clients). We have grown to include global brands (Amazon, Sophia Learning), major sports franchises (X Games, Florida Panthers, Washington Commanders, Cleveland Cavaliers, Women’s Tennis Association), as well as public sector institutions (City of Boston, Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism). We are on the hunt for a talented Data Analyst I to join our Strategy & Analytics team to assist with reporting, tracking, data analysis, advertising strategy, and visualization needs. In this role, you will work internally to assist paid media analysts with reporting requests and externally to provide clients with insights into their advertising campaigns.
What you'll bring

- You bring a strong technical toolkit, including SQL, Excel, Google Data Studio/Data Visualization, and enjoy working with SQL on a day-to-day basis
- You are technically curious and resourceful.
- You have a natural ability to navigate and understand technical documentation—whether it’s for an API, a piece of software, or a new platform—and use it to troubleshoot or build new solutions.
- Experience with Marketing APIs, BigQuery, Snowflake, ETL tools (Rivery, Supermetrics), or Python is a significant plus
- You communicate with clarity.
- You can take the deep-dive technical work you do under the hood and explain the logic, the solution, and the results to a non-technical audience without losing the meaning
- You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with complex datasets
- Experience with marketing data or paid advertising is a plus
- preferably in a fast-paced environment.
