About the role

This role is based out of our NYC or Boston location and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. What you'll bring

• J.D. from an accredited institution with outstanding academic credentials
• Admission to a State Bar within the United States
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience working for a top tier law firm.
• Demonstrated legal expertise in M&A, securities law and corporate governance.
• Extensive experience in managing complex M&A transactions
• Excellent writing, analytical, negotiation, communication, strategic thinking, and presentation skills
• Strong understanding of corporate and securities laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, problem solving abilities and organization/prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a team and in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
• preferably within the technology or financial services sector.
